The Metal

Tungsten carbide is the hardest wedding-band metal made - roughly 4× harder than titanium and 10× harder than 18k gold. That's not marketing language; it's a measurable Mohs hardness of 8.5-9. In practical terms: this band will not scratch from keys, tools, gym equipment, or daily contact with desks, steering wheels, or phone cases. It will look the same in five years as it looks the day you open the box.

The black tone on the MAGICA is a PVD (physical vapor deposition) finish bonded to the tungsten core at the molecular level - not paint or plating. It won't peel, strip, or wear through. The metal is fully hypoallergenic and nickel-free. The synthetic red fire-opal is set in a recessed channel and sealed flush; the dome itself is mirror-polished.

Red Fire-Opal

Synthetic red fire-opal is lab-grown silica that shifts through deep crimson, warm orange, and pale gold fire - a warm saturated palette with depth and motion. On the MAGICA, that opal runs flush across the crown of a polished black tungsten dome, creating dramatic contrast between fiery warm color and deep cool dark metal.

From a distance the ring reads as a dark band with a glowing red stripe. Up close, the opal's fire shifts as your hand turns - crimson into orange into gold. It's the same opal-fire phenomenon you'd see in natural opal, lab-grown for color stability and consistency.
