About pear engagement rings
The pear, or teardrop, combines a rounded end with a single point. Worn with the point toward the fingertip, it lengthens the look of the hand.
Choose 10K or 14K gold in white or yellow, 925 sterling silver, or two-tone gold, which pairs a yellow gold band with white gold prongs around the diamond. Two-tone rings are listed by purity as 10K two-tone or 14K two-tone.
