The short version: Every Aydins ring includes lifetime sizing and a lifetime warranty on manufacturing defects. Sizing is yours for life under the standard exchange schedule. The warranty covers manufacturing defects only, free in the first 6 months, $34.50 from months 6–12, $54.50 after one year. Items $1,000 and above carry a 25% fee at every tier. The optional Aydins Protection Plan, a paid add-on at checkout, adds one free exchange (any reason) inside the first 6 months on top of the warranty, but only for customers who chose to purchase it.

Bought a ring from us? We’re here, for as long as you own it.

Most rings get sold once and forgotten. Ours don’t. The same family that engraved and shipped your band is here when your finger changes size, when life knocks the ring against a steel beam, or when a manufacturing defect shows itself two years in. Lifetime Sizing is for the original purchaser at a small flat fee. Lifetime Warranty against defects is free for the first 6 months, then $34.50, then $54.50 flat (items over $1,000 carry a 25% surcharge at every tier).

There is no warranty card to lose. If you bought it from us, you’re in the system. We’ll find your order and we’ll take care of you.

Lifetime sizing

Sizing changes, for the original purchaser, no time limit.

Fingers change size. Pregnancy, weight gain, weight loss, age, time of day, time of year, the ring you ordered today may not fit in three years. That’s normal, and we built for it.

Lifetime Sizing is available to the original purchaser for as long as they own the ring. Send the ring back, tell us your new size, and we’ll send a replacement in your new size. Standard 30-day exchanges are free; after that, sizing is a small flat fee, $34.50 from days 31–365, $54.50 after that. Items priced over $1,000 carry a 25% surcharge at every tier. Engraved? We carry the engraving over to the replacement at no charge.

Tungsten, titanium, and ceramic rings cannot be physically resized, we ship a new ring in your new size, identical to the original.

Replacements, Not Repairs

Tungsten, titanium, and ceramic rings cannot be physically resized, the metal is too hard to stretch or compress without shattering. So instead of resizing, we replace the ring with a new one in your new size, identical to the original (same material, width, finish, inlay, engraving).

Same Engraving, No Charge

Replacement rings get the same engraving as the original at no extra cost, even on custom artwork, fingerprints, or handwriting. Just confirm at intake that you want the engraving carried over.

Manufacturing defects, by tier.

The Aydins Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing defects only, cracks, chips, structural failure, and material defects that occur under normal wear. The fee depends on one thing: how long you’ve owned the ring. The clock starts the day you receive it.

What the warranty covers: manufacturing defects, cracks, chips, breakage from normal wear, structural failure, material defects. We replace the ring with a new one identical to the original; engraving is carried over at no charge.

What the warranty does not cover: sizing changes (those go under standard exchange), intentional damage, third-party modifications, normal cosmetic wear, or loss after delivery. See the full exclusions below.

Aydins Protection Plan, optional add-on

The Aydins Protection Plan is a paid add-on you can purchase at checkout. It is optional, not included by default. If you add the Plan to your order, you get one free exchange within 6 months of the day you receive your ring, size, style, even engraved, with the standard exchange fees waived.

It’s separate from the warranty. The warranty covers defects under tiered fees and applies to every purchase; the Protection Plan, when purchased, adds one no-questions free exchange in the first six months on top of that.

How to claim

Visit aydins.thunderreturns.com and enter your order number and email. We’ll find your purchase automatically.

Pick the Reason

Choose “sizing,” “exchange,” or “warranty.” Tell us what happened, pay any applicable fee, and confirm. The portal shows the price up front.

Ship It Back

Drop the ring in the mail to our facility in Irving, TX. We replace and ship within 5–7 business days of receipt.

Exclusions

What lifetime doesn’t cover.

We’re generous, not unlimited. The Aydins Lifetime Warranty applies to manufacturing defects under normal wear. It does not cover:

  • Loss or theft after delivery. If you lose the ring after we’ve delivered it, we can’t replace it under warranty.
  • Intentional damage. Crushing the ring with pliers, hammer, or vehicle is not normal wear.
  • Cosmetic wear. Hairline scratches, surface dulling, and patina from daily use are expected on any ring, refinishing is available for a small fee but not under warranty.
  • Third-party modifications. If another jeweler has resized, soldered, drilled, or refinished the ring, the warranty is void.
  • Sizing changes. Sizing is covered under the standard exchange schedule, not the warranty.
  • Non-Aydins rings. Coverage is for rings purchased directly from Aydins Jewelry. Outside rings are not covered.

Is the Aydins Lifetime Warranty really for life?

Is Lifetime Sizing the same as the warranty?

No, they’re two separate programs. Lifetime Sizing covers fit changes for the original purchaser at a small flat fee, with no time limit. Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing defects for as long as you own the ring, with the tiered fee structure shown above.

Can you actually resize a tungsten ring?

No, tungsten is too hard to stretch or compress without shattering. Same for titanium, ceramic, and Damascus. Instead, we ship a new ring in your new size, identical to the original, and the original is recycled.

What does the warranty actually cover?

Manufacturing defects only, cracks, chips, breakage from normal wear, structural failure, material defects. Sizing changes are covered separately under the standard exchange schedule.

How is the warranty different from an exchange?

Exchanges are for changing your mind about size or style. Warranty is for defects in the ring itself. Different fee schedules, both tiered by age, both available for as long as you own the ring.

What about the Protection Plan?

The Protection Plan is an optional paid add-on you can purchase at checkout. If you bought the Plan with your order, you get one free exchange (any reason, including engraved) within 6 months of receipt, fees waived, it sits on top of the warranty. Without the Plan, the standard exchange schedule applies.

Will my engraving be lost when you replace the ring?

No. We carry over the same engraving (text, handwriting, fingerprint, logo) at no extra charge. Just confirm at intake that you want the engraving preserved.

What if I lose the ring?

Loss after delivery is not covered under the warranty. Once the ring is in your hands, replacement is your responsibility, check your homeowner’s or renter’s insurance.

Where do I ship my ring?

You’ll get the address inside the claim portal after submitting your request. Do not ship blind, we need the claim ID inside the package to route it correctly.
