The Metal

Tungsten carbide is the hardest wedding-band metal made - roughly 4× harder than titanium and 10× harder than 18k gold. That's not marketing language; it's a measurable Mohs hardness of 8.5-9. In practical terms: this band resists scratches from keys, tools, gym equipment, and daily contact with desks, steering wheels, and phone cases. It will look the same in five years as it looks the day you open the box.

Both tones on the DEIMOS are PVD (physical vapor deposition) finishes bonded to the tungsten core at the molecular level - not paint or plating. Neither can peel, strip, or wear through. The brushed center has fine matte grain in jet black; the stepped edges are mirror-polished warm yellow gold.

The DEIMOS layers two tones into three visible zones running across the band. The brushed black center reads as a calm matte stripe of dark color. To either side, the band steps up into mirror-polished yellow-gold-tone tungsten beveled edges - a higher polished tier that frames the matte black center in warm metal.

From a distance the ring shows as a band with a dark center and bright gold edges. Up close, the layered stepped construction reveals itself: matte brushed grain in the black, glossy reflection in the gold. It's a wedding band that puts cool dark and warm bright into deliberate proportion.
