The Metal

Tungsten carbide is the hardest wedding-band metal made - roughly 4× harder than titanium and 10× harder than 18k gold. That's not marketing language; it's a measurable Mohs hardness of 8.5-9. In practical terms: this band will not scratch from keys, tools, gym equipment, or daily contact with desks, steering wheels, or phone cases. It will look the same in five years as it looks the day you open the box.

The blue tone on the PACHUTA is a PVD (physical vapor deposition) finish bonded to the tungsten core at the molecular level - not paint or plating. It won't peel, strip, or wear through. The metal is fully hypoallergenic and nickel-free. The hammered texture is forged directly into the tungsten surface - each dimple is a real hand-struck mark - while the beveled edges are mirror-polished.

Hand-Hammered Blue With Edge Notches

Hammered tungsten bands are rare because the metal is so hard - forming the dimpled hammer texture requires specialized tooling. On the PACHUTA, that texture covers the center face in organic overlapping dimples, each one catching light differently. The result reads hand-crafted rather than machined.

Along both edges of the center, a series of short recessed notches adds a layer of graphic detail - a rhythm counterpoint to the chaos of the hammer marks. The polished blue beveled edges frame the whole thing with clean reflective borders.
