The CARBULEUM is a polished black tungsten carbide men's wedding band, 8mm wide, with a beveled body carrying a rose gold steampunk gear pattern laid over a blue carbon fiber backing that runs the full circumference of the inlay. Built comfort fit, inside laser engravable, and backed by the Aydins Lifetime Warranty.
The Metal
Tungsten carbide is the hardest wedding-band metal made - roughly 4x harder than titanium and 10x harder than 18k gold - with a Mohs hardness of 8.5 to 9. In practical terms: this band will not scratch from keys, tools, gym equipment, or daily contact with desks, steering wheels, or phone cases. It will look the same in five years as it looks the day you open the box.
The black tone on the CARBULEUM is a PVD (physical vapor deposition) finish bonded to the tungsten core at the molecular level, not paint or plating. It will not peel, strip, or wear through. The metal is fully hypoallergenic and nickel-free.
Rose Gold Steampunk Gears over Blue Carbon Fiber
The inlay carries a rose gold steampunk gear pattern - cogs, sprockets, pinions, and clockwork wheels - set over a bright blue carbon fiber backing, framed by polished black tungsten beveled edges. The gear pattern is a decorative overlay in rose-gold tone; the carbon fiber behind it is real pressure-forged composite, the same material used in Formula 1 chassis and aerospace components, sealed flush into the beveled body's channel.
From a distance the ring reads as a polished black band with a bright inlay stripe. Up close, the mechanical gearwork comes into focus against the woven blue carbon fiber - engineered, kinetic, and masculine.
