The Metal
Tungsten carbide is the hardest wedding-band metal made - roughly 4× harder than titanium and 10× harder than 18k gold. That's not marketing language; it's a measurable Mohs hardness of 8.5-9. In practical terms: this band will not scratch from keys, tools, gym equipment, or daily contact with desks, steering wheels, or phone cases. It will look the same in five years as it looks the day you open the box.
The silver tone on the GREENFIRE is the natural color of tungsten carbide itself - not plating, not paint. It can't wear off. The metal is fully hypoallergenic and nickel-free. The black and emerald-green resins are jewelry-grade pigmented resin, set side-by-side and sealed flush into the dome's channel.
Black & Emerald Resin on Polished Silver
The GREENFIRE keeps the design language graphic and bold - two saturated color stripes side-by-side across a polished silver tungsten dome. Solid matte black on one side, vivid emerald-green on the other, no other materials competing for attention.

Every Aydins ring is covered by the Aydins Lifetime Warranty against breaks and material defects. Automatic on every order, no purchase required.
What is covered
- Cracks, shatters, and breaks in the ring itself
- Material defects in the metal, plating, coating, or inlay
- Inlay separation caused by material defect (not caused by impact or wear)
How coverage works (non-precious metal rings)
Applies to tungsten, titanium, ceramic, damascus, cobalt, stainless, silicone.
- First 6 months: free replacement, no fee.
- 6 to 12 months: $34.50 flat fee.
- 12 months and after: $54.50 flat fee.
How coverage works (precious metal rings)
Applies to platinum, 10k / 14k / 18k gold, sterling silver, sterling silver with gold plating.
- First 6 months: free replacement, no fee.
- After 6 months: quoted per case based on current metal market prices, because a warranty replacement in a precious metal requires new metal at current spot pricing.
What is not covered
- Normal wear over time (finish dulling, patina, small daily-use scratches)
- Damage from drops, impact, or excessive force
- Damage from chlorine, harsh chemicals, or abrasive cleaning
- Intentional damage
- Loss in shipping (covered only if you added the Aydins Protection Plan at checkout)
- Theft at delivery (covered only if you added the Aydins Protection Plan and can show the carrier's proof of delivery to the correct address and a police report)
- Damage from at-home resizing attempts (use Lifetime Sizing instead)
Aydins Lifetime Sizing Program
Your finger size will change over the years. Lifetime Sizing keeps your ring fitting.
Original purchaser only. Lifetime Sizing applies to the original purchaser of the ring. It is not transferable.
- First 30 days: free exchange (unengraved rings). Engraved rings within the first 30 days: $34.50 surcharge.
- Year 1 after 30 days: $34.50 flat fee.
- Year 2 and after: $54.50 flat fee.
- Precious metal rings: quoted per case based on current metal market prices.
- Aydins Protection Plan: if you added the Plan at checkout, your first exchange within 6 months of receipt is free and covers either size or style.
Shipping split: You ship your original ring to Aydins. We ship the replacement back to you at no cost.
Processing time
Once your ring arrives at our workshop, refunds and replacement shipments are processed in 3 to 5 business days.
How to file a claim or request a resize
Visit our Returns & Exchanges page to start any warranty claim, resize request, or return. Include a clear photo of the ring so we can confirm coverage before shipping a replacement.

FAQ's
How does inside engraving work?
Free with every order. You can engrave text, dates, coordinates, fingerprints, handwriting, signatures, or a custom image. Standard fonts are included; if you want a specific font or custom artwork, send us a sample after checkout and we'll match it. Engraving is permanent and laser-etched, not stamped.
Do you offer custom sizes or widths?
Yes, within reason. We can do half sizes, sizes below 5 and above 15, and non-standard widths on most styles. Reach out before ordering with what you need and we'll quote the timeline. Some materials (ceramic, full-engraved patterns) have manufacturing limits we'll be upfront about.
Which material is right for me?
Tungsten is hardest and most scratch-resistant; great for daily wear and active hands. Titanium is lighter, hypoallergenic, and softer in feel. Ceramic is hard like tungsten but lighter and a true permanent black. Solid 14k gold is softer than tungsten and will pick up character marks over time, which most buyers like; pick gold if you want a traditional precious metal. Are your rings really handcrafted?
Yes. Every Aydins ring is hand-finished, hand-inspected, and hand-engraved in our workshop before it ships. We've been doing this since 2011. That's why standard turnaround is 1 to 3 business days and not same-day; the quality check takes a beat.

Tracking is provided when your order ships. Aydins chooses how each order ships. For custom or made-to-order products, the listed production time applies before the order ships.
International Shipping
International shipping is US$20 per order, including Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany and Australia (the converted equivalent where checkout shows another currency). Estimated international transit time is 3–15 business days after dispatch, depending on your destination. If your country isn't listed at checkout, contact us. Customers are responsible for any import duties unless otherwise stated.

Base material: Tungsten carbide
About tungsten carbide
Tungsten carbide is a very hard compound of tungsten and carbon. A tungsten band has a solid, weighty feel, much heavier than titanium or ceramic.
Finishes and inlays
Some tungsten rings have a gold, rose gold or black plated finish over the tungsten base. Plating is a surface layer, so it can show wear over time, most often on the edges. Inlays such as wood, carbon fiber, opal or stone are separate materials set into the band.
Worth knowing
- Tungsten carbide does not bend. A hard, sharp impact can crack or chip it.
- It cannot be resized like gold. Size exchanges are handled through the Aydins Lifetime Sizing program for the original purchaser. See Returns & Exchanges for details.
- In an emergency, a tungsten ring cannot be cut off with a standard ring cutter. It is removed by cracking it instead.
Care
- Wash with mild soap and warm water, then dry with a soft cloth.
- Take it off around chlorine, bleach and harsh cleaners, which are hardest on plated finishes and inlays.
- Skip ultrasonic cleaners and jewelry dips.
