Find your ring size.
Not sure? Use a ring you already own, or measure with a string. If the size is off, you are covered: 30-day exchange on unengraved rings, and Lifetime Sizing for the original purchaser after that.
Already know your size? Use the chart below →Pick the path that fits.
Two methods, both accurate.
Method A: Use a ring you already own
Method B: String and a ruler
A few notes from the workshop
- Measure at the end of the day. Fingers are larger by then.
- Measure the hand the ring will live on. The dominant hand is usually a half-size larger.
- A wider band (6mm+) wears a half-size tighter. If between two sizes, size up.
- Avoid measuring when your hands are very cold, swollen, or right after a workout.
Comfort fit vs standard fit.
All Aydins rings use a comfort fit profile: the inner edge is slightly rounded so the ring slides on easily and does not pinch. Comfort fit typically wears about a quarter size larger than standard fit. If you have measured with a standard-fit ring, size down a quarter for Aydins.
Between sizes? Round up.
If you are truly between sizes, the larger of the two is almost always the right call, especially for wider bands. The band should slide on with slight resistance and past the knuckle with a small tug.

Use the Interactive Ring SizerBand width changes the fit.
The width of the band changes how it feels on your finger. Aydins offers rings in widths from 4mm to 12mm depending on the style. Same US size, different width = different fit.
- 4-6mm (slim): Fits like standard sizing. Comfortable for daily wear.
- 7-8mm (medium): Fits slightly tighter than a slim band at the same US size. If between sizes, round up.
- 9-12mm (wide): Fits a quarter to half size tighter than slim bands. Round up half a size from your everyday fit.

Sizing for engagement rings.
Engagement ring sizing is more forgiving than fixed-metal bands because the shanks are gold or platinum and can typically be resized up to one full size in either direction. Still, ordering close to the right size the first time avoids a resize fee.
If you are surprise-proposing, common methods to figure out ring size without asking:
- Borrow a ring she already wears on her ring finger and bring it to a jeweler for measurement
- Trace the inside of a ring on paper and match to a printable ring size chart
- Ask a close friend or family member who might know
- Order approximate, then resize after (Aydins engagement rings can be resized within one size for free within 30 days)
If your size is off, you are covered.
30-day exchange. Unengraved standard rings exchange free within 30 days. Engraved rings are exchange-only with a $34.50 surcharge.
Lifetime Sizing. Fit changes after 30 days are covered for the original purchaser at a small flat fee, with no time limit.
Aydins Lifetime Warranty. Manufacturing defects are covered free for the first 6 months, then $34.50 through month 12, then $54.50 flat after that.
Note on non-resizable metals: Tungsten, titanium, ceramic, and Damascus steel cannot be resized. Exchange for a different size within 30 days if unworn and unengraved. Engraved rings in these metals are not returnable. Size correctly the first time.
