The Metal

Tungsten carbide is the hardest wedding-band metal made - roughly 4× harder than titanium and 10× harder than 18k gold. That's not marketing language; it's a measurable Mohs hardness of 8.5-9. In practical terms: this band will not scratch from keys, tools, gym equipment, or daily contact with desks, steering wheels, or phone cases. It will look the same in five years as it looks the day you open the box.

The black tone on the ZURLOU is a PVD (physical vapor deposition) finish bonded to the tungsten core at the molecular level - not paint or plating. It won't peel, strip, or wear through. The metal is fully hypoallergenic and nickel-free. The green opal fragments and abalone shell are genuine - set together in clear resin into the dome's channel.

Green opal carries a deep emerald tone with internal play-of-color; abalone shell shifts between blues, greens, and pinks depending on angle. The ZURLOU pairs them in a single inlay - fragments of both materials set together in clear resin across the crown of a polished black tungsten dome.

From a distance the ring reads as a dark band with a vivid green-and-iridescent center stripe. Up close, the two materials separate visually - emerald opal points scattered alongside shimmering abalone fragments - each catching light differently. It's a wedding band built on layered iridescence framed by deep mirror-polished black.
