The Metal

Tungsten carbide is the hardest wedding-band metal made - roughly 4× harder than titanium and 10× harder than 18k gold. That's not marketing language; it's a measurable Mohs hardness of 8.5-9. In practical terms: this band will not scratch from keys, tools, gym equipment, or daily contact with desks, steering wheels, or phone cases. It will look the same in five years as it looks the day you open the box.

Both tones on the PETROS are PVD (physical vapor deposition) finishes bonded to the tungsten core at the molecular level - not paint or plating. Neither can peel, strip, or wear through. The metal is fully hypoallergenic and nickel-free. The dome is mirror-polished jet black; the twin grooves are recessed and finished in deep blue PVD.

The PETROS is built on contrast: a deep mirror-polished black tungsten dome cut by two thin parallel deep-blue lines. The grooves are precision-recessed into the surface and filled with deep-blue PVD, sitting slightly below the polished black surface - protected from contact, sharp under light.

From a distance the ring reads as a glossy dark band with two cool-blue accent lines. Up close, the parallel symmetry becomes the design - restrained, deliberate, geometric. It's a wedding band that gets its character from two precise lines rather than a wide inlay.
