How lab-grown compares
Our lab-grown diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds. The only difference is origin: ours are grown in a lab, not extracted from the earth. Same sparkle, same fire, same longevity. Better conscience. About half the price of the same stone mined.

Every Aydins ring is covered by the Aydins Lifetime Warranty against breaks and material defects. Automatic on every order, no purchase required.
What is covered
- Cracks, shatters, and breaks in the ring itself
- Material defects in the metal, plating, coating, or inlay
- Inlay separation caused by material defect (not caused by impact or wear)
How coverage works (non-precious metal rings)
Applies to tungsten, titanium, ceramic, damascus, cobalt, stainless, silicone.
- First 6 months: free replacement, no fee.
- 6 to 12 months: $34.50 flat fee.
- 12 months and after: $54.50 flat fee.
How coverage works (precious metal rings)
Applies to platinum, 10k / 14k / 18k gold, sterling silver, sterling silver with gold plating.
- First 6 months: free replacement, no fee.
- After 6 months: quoted per case based on current metal market prices, because a warranty replacement in a precious metal requires new metal at current spot pricing.
What is not covered
- Normal wear over time (finish dulling, patina, small daily-use scratches)
- Damage from drops, impact, or excessive force
- Damage from chlorine, harsh chemicals, or abrasive cleaning
- Intentional damage
- Loss in shipping (covered only if you added the Aydins Protection Plan at checkout, first 6 months)
- Theft (covered only if you added the Aydins Protection Plan and can show FedEx proof of delivery to the correct address)
- Damage from at-home resizing attempts (use Lifetime Sizing instead)

Your finger size will change over the years. Lifetime Sizing keeps your ring fitting.
Original purchaser only. Lifetime Sizing applies to the original purchaser of the ring. It is not transferable.
- First 30 days: free exchange (unengraved rings). Engraved rings within the first 30 days: $34.50 surcharge, waived once if you added the Aydins Protection Plan at checkout.
- Year 1 after 30 days: $34.50 flat fee.
- Year 2 and after: $54.50 flat fee.
- Precious metal rings: quoted per case based on current metal market prices.
Shipping split: You ship your original ring to Aydins. We ship the replacement back to you at no cost.

Is this a real diamond?
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are 100% real diamonds. They are chemically, optically, and physically identical to mined diamonds. The only difference is how they are made: in a lab in a few weeks, instead of in the earth over millions of years.
What does lab-grown mean?
Lab-grown diamonds are created in a controlled laboratory environment using one of two methods: HPHT (high pressure, high temperature) or CVD (chemical vapor deposition). Both methods recreate the same conditions that form natural diamonds. The result is a diamond that is structurally identical to a mined one, but typically priced 50 to 70 percent below mined.
How long does the ring take to arrive?
Total time from order to delivery is 3 to 5 weeks. Your ring is custom-made to your size, then shipped to our Texas workshop where we inspect, engrave (if requested), and repackage before FedEx 2Day shipping to you free of charge in the US.
What is the difference between 14K and 10K gold?
14K gold is 58.3% pure gold, 10K is 41.7% pure gold. Both are real gold and both hold up to daily wear. 14K has a slightly richer color and is more common in the US bridal market. 10K is more affordable, slightly harder (more scratch-resistant), and a great option for couples on a tighter budget. 10K gold is real gold with the same durability and fire as 14K, at a lower entry price. Same lab-grown diamond, same free engraving — the metal is 41.7% pure gold instead of 58.3%. For couples who want the ring, not the markup.
Can I engrave the ring?
Yes. Free inside engraving is included with every ring, up to 20 characters. We engrave at our Texas workshop after the ring arrives from the manufacturer, so engraving does not extend your delivery timeline. Once engraved, rings are exchange-only.
What size should I order?
Aydins engagement rings are made to order in half sizes from 4 to 12. If you are unsure of the ring size, use our free ring sizer tool at shopaydins.com/pages/find-your-ring-size or measure using our size chart. If the size is off, we offer a free re-size on un-engraved rings within 30 days.
What is your return policy?
30-day return on un-engraved, original-size rings with a 25% restocking fee (these are custom made-to-order rings, so the fee covers the wholesale cost we already paid). Once engraved or resized, rings are exchange only. Defective rings are replaced free of charge under our Lifetime Warranty.
Is this ring covered by a warranty?
Yes. Every ring is backed by the Aydins Lifetime Warranty Program, which covers manufacturing defects for the lifetime of the ring. It does not cover accidental damage, loss, or wear from normal use — for those, we recommend a separate jewelry insurance policy.

Express and Next-Day Delivery
Available at checkout for an additional fee. Express options reduce transit time after the order ships, but standard processing time still applies before the package goes out. For custom or made-to-order products, the listed production time still applies before any shipping method begins.
International Shipping
We ship worldwide to most countries. If yours isn't listed at checkout, contact us and we'll work something out. Delivery times vary by destination. UPS and FedEx Express options are available for faster international transit.
