The Metal

Tungsten carbide is the hardest wedding-band metal made - roughly 4× harder than titanium and 10× harder than 18k gold. That's not marketing language; it's a measurable Mohs hardness of 8.5-9. In practical terms: this band will not scratch from keys, tools, gym equipment, or daily contact with desks, steering wheels, or phone cases. It will look the same in five years as it looks the day you open the box.

Both tones on the TRISTON are PVD (physical vapor deposition) finishes bonded to the tungsten core at the molecular level - the rose-gold-tone and the jet-black are molecularly integrated, not painted or plated. Neither can peel, strip, or wear through. The metal is fully hypoallergenic and nickel-free. The flat pipe-cut profile gives the band hard 90-degree outer edges; the black groove sits deliberately off-center rather than splitting the face in half.

The Off-Center Black Groove

Where a centered groove reads symmetrical and classical, an off-center groove reads deliberate and modern. The TRISTON places its jet-black groove off to one side - closer to one edge than the other - giving the flat rose-gold-tone face an asymmetric visual rhythm. From a distance the band reads as bright warm rose gold with one precise dark line. Up close, the off-center placement is what you notice - the ring has a clear design signature rather than neutral symmetry.
