About Ceramic
Ceramic is a high-tech engineered material. It's harder than steel, lighter than tungsten, and color-stable for life. The ceramic used in the STAG is engineered specifically for jewelry. It won't fade in sunlight, won't pick up scratches the way coated rings do, and stays glossy with nothing more than a wipe-down.
Ceramic is highly scratch-resistant but brittle under sharp impact. Drop it on tile and it can chip or crack. The upside in an emergency: ceramic rings can be cracked off the finger quickly using standard ER tools.
Ceramic is naturally hypoallergenic with zero nickel content, so the STAG works for sensitive skin. It's also notably lighter than tungsten, which makes it comfortable for all-day wear.
About the Deer Antler Inlay
The antler inlay in the STAG is real, ethically sourced deer antler. Antlers are shed naturally each year, so no animal is harmed in the harvest. The antler is cut, shaped, and stabilized into the band, with the natural grain and color variation of the original antler preserved. Each ring's pattern is one-of-a-kind because no two antlers grow identically.
Antler is bone-density material, surprisingly durable for an organic inlay. The neutral cream and tan coloration pairs well with both light and dark metal bands. Because antler shed-cycles vary by species and individual deer, your inlay carries a piece of natural seasonal biology in its pattern.
Care: antler is organic, so treat it like fine wood. Wipe with a dry cloth, avoid prolonged water immersion, and don't expose to harsh chemicals. The inlay is sealed for everyday wear, but extra care extends its life by decades.

Sizing & Fit
The STAG is comfort fit, meaning the inside of the band is rounded rather than flat, which makes it easier to slide over the knuckle and more comfortable for all-day wear. Comfort-fit rings typically size a half-size smaller than standard-fit rings, so if you normally wear a size 10 standard-fit, you'll likely wear a 9.5 in the STAG.

Care Instructions
The STAG's ceramic body is essentially maintenance-free. Wipe with a soft cloth to restore the polish, and use warm soapy water for a deeper clean. Don't drop on hard surfaces (ceramic is scratch-resistant but brittle), don't use abrasive cleaners, and avoid sharp impact on the inlay.
Engraving
Every STAG includes free inside laser engraving. Add a wedding date, initials, coordinates, or any phrase up to 30 characters. Engraving is permanent, professionally applied, and does not delay shipping.

Can the STAG be cut off in an emergency?
Yes. Both tungsten and ceramic rings can be safely removed in an emergency. Hospitals use a tool that cracks the band cleanly off the finger without needing to cut through it. This is actually a safety advantage over gold or platinum, which require more time-consuming cutting.
Lifetime Warranty
Every Aydins ring is covered by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. If something fails because of how the ring was made, not how it was worn, we'll take care of it through our warranty process.
What's Covered
- Manufacturing defects in the ring or its finish
- Premature failure of plating, coatings, or inlays under normal wear
- Stone setting failure caused by the manufacturing process
- Defects in the metal or material itself
What's Not Covered
The warranty covers how we built the ring, not what happens to it after you take it home. The following aren't covered:
- Damage from drops, sharp impact, or excessive force
- Wear caused by chlorine, harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaning, or improper care
- Lost rings
- Damage from at-home sizing or resizing attempts (always use the Lifetime Sizing Program)
- Normal cosmetic wear over time on softer metals (small scratches, patina)
Aydins Lifetime Sizing Program
Your finger size will change over the years. The Lifetime Sizing Program is how we make sure your ring keeps fitting, no matter how long you've owned it.
It works like this:
- If your size changes at any point in your life, we will send you the same ring in your new size for a small re-sizing fee, not the full retail price.
- You ship your original ring back to us, and we ship the replacement out to you.
- The full process is handled through our Returns & Exchanges portal, so you can track everything from start to finish.
The exact process depends on the metal (some can be resized, others are replaced), but the outcome is the same: you stay in a ring that fits, for life.
How to File a Claim or Request a Resize
Visit our Returns & Exchanges page to start any warranty claim, resize request, or return. You'll be guided through our self-service portal, where you can submit your claim, upload photos if needed, and track status from start to finish.
For warranty claims, please include a clear photo of the ring so we can confirm coverage before shipping a replacement.

How does inside engraving work?
Free with every order. You can engrave text, dates, coordinates, fingerprints, handwriting, signatures, or a custom image. Standard fonts are included; if you want a specific font or custom artwork, send us a sample after checkout and we'll match it. Engraving is permanent and laser-etched, not stamped.
Do you offer custom sizes or widths?
Yes, within reason. We can do half sizes, sizes below 5 and above 15, and non-standard widths on most styles. Reach out before ordering with what you need and we'll quote the timeline. Some materials (ceramic, full-engraved patterns) have manufacturing limits we'll be upfront about.
Which material is right for me?
Tungsten is hardest and most scratch-resistant; great for daily wear and active hands. Titanium is lighter, hypoallergenic, and softer in feel. Ceramic is hard like tungsten but lighter and a true permanent black. Solid 14k gold is softer than tungsten and will pick up character marks over time, which most buyers like; pick gold if you want a traditional precious metal. Are your rings really handcrafted?
Yes. Every Aydins ring is hand-finished, hand-inspected, and hand-engraved in our workshop before it ships. We've been doing this since 2011. That's why standard turnaround is 1 to 3 business days and not same-day; the quality check takes a beat.

Every order ships free anywhere in the United States with no minimum. Free shipping is also available to Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom on orders of $90 USD or more.
Processing Time
Most orders ship within 1 to 5 business days. Engraved rings, custom sizes, and special widths can add a day or two; we'll let you know if your order needs extra time.
Express and Next-Day Delivery
Available at checkout for an additional fee. Express options reduce transit time after the order ships, but standard processing time still applies before the package goes out.
In-Store Pickup
Available within 1 to 5 business days for local customers. Select pickup at checkout.
International Shipping
