The Metal

Tungsten carbide is the hardest wedding-band metal made - roughly 4× harder than titanium and 10× harder than 18k gold. That's not marketing language; it's a measurable Mohs hardness of 8.5-9. In practical terms: this band will not scratch from keys, tools, gym equipment, or daily contact with desks, steering wheels, or phone cases. It will look the same in five years as it looks the day you open the box.

The yellow gold tone on the PAVO is a PVD (physical vapor deposition) finish bonded to the tungsten core at the molecular level - not paint or plating. It won't peel, strip, or wear through. The metal is fully hypoallergenic and nickel-free. The black turquoise is genuine - pressure-stabilized to lock the porous stone in place - and sealed flush into the dome's channel.

Black Turquoise on Polished Gold

Black turquoise is the dark variety of natural turquoise - deep midnight stone shot through with the characteristic matrix veining of true turquoise. On the PAVO, it sits flush across the crown of a polished yellow-gold-tone tungsten dome, creating dramatic contrast between dark stone and warm gold.

From a distance the ring reads as a warm gold band with a dark center stripe. Up close, the natural matrix veining of the turquoise becomes visible - irregular dark lines across the deep stone - and no two rings are identical because each turquoise piece has its own veining pattern. Real stone, lab-stable metal frame, paired deliberately.
