Lifetime Warranty
Every Aydins ring is covered by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. If something fails because of how the ring was made, not how it was worn, we'll take care of it through our warranty process.
What's Covered
- Manufacturing defects in the ring or its finish
- Premature failure of plating, coatings, or inlays under normal wear
- Stone setting failure caused by the manufacturing process
- Defects in the metal or material itself
What's Not Covered
The warranty covers how we built the ring, not what happens to it after you take it home. The following aren't covered:
- Damage from drops, sharp impact, or excessive force
- Wear caused by chlorine, harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaning, or improper care
- Lost rings
- Damage from at-home sizing or resizing attempts (always use the Lifetime Sizing Program)
- Normal cosmetic wear over time on softer metals (small scratches, patina)
Aydins Lifetime Sizing Program
Your finger size will change over the years. The Lifetime Sizing Program is how we make sure your ring keeps fitting, no matter how long you've owned it.
It works like this:
- If your size changes at any point in your life, we will send you the same ring in your new size for a small re-sizing fee, not the full retail price.
- You ship your original ring back to us, and we ship the replacement out to you.
- The full process is handled through our Returns & Exchanges portal, so you can track everything from start to finish.
The exact process depends on the metal (some can be resized, others are replaced), but the outcome is the same: you stay in a ring that fits, for life.
How to File a Claim or Request a Resize
Visit our Returns & Exchanges page to start any warranty claim, resize request, or return. You'll be guided through our self-service portal, where you can submit your claim, upload photos if needed, and track status from start to finish.
For warranty claims, please include a clear photo of the ring so we can confirm coverage before shipping a replacement.

Aydins has been making rings since 2011. The warranty and the sizing program exist for one reason: a wedding band is supposed to last as long as the marriage. We build the ring to do that, and we back it for as long as you wear it.
How does inside engraving work?
Free with every order. You can engrave text, dates, coordinates, fingerprints, handwriting, signatures, or a custom image. Standard fonts are included; if you want a specific font or custom artwork, send us a sample after checkout and we'll match it. Engraving is permanent and laser-etched, not stamped.
Do you offer custom sizes or widths?
Yes, within reason. We can do half sizes, sizes below 5 and above 15, and non-standard widths on most styles. Reach out before ordering with what you need and we'll quote the timeline. Some materials (ceramic, full-engraved patterns) have manufacturing limits we'll be upfront about.
Which material is right for me?
Tungsten is hardest and most scratch-resistant; great for daily wear and active hands. Titanium is lighter, hypoallergenic, and softer in feel. Ceramic is hard like tungsten but lighter and a true permanent black. Solid 14k gold is softer than tungsten and will pick up character marks over time, which most buyers like; pick gold if you want a traditional precious metal. Are your rings really handcrafted?
Yes. Every Aydins ring is hand-finished, hand-inspected, and hand-engraved in our workshop before it ships. We've been doing this since 2011. That's why standard turnaround is 1 to 3 business days and not same-day; the quality check takes a beat.

Every order ships free anywhere in the United States with no minimum. Free shipping is also available to Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom on orders of $90 USD or more.
Processing Time
Most orders ship within 1 to 5 business days. Engraved rings, custom sizes, and special widths can add a day or two; we'll let you know if your order needs extra time.
Express and Next-Day Delivery
Available at checkout for an additional fee. Express options reduce transit time after the order ships, but standard processing time still applies before the package goes out.

<h3>What Ceramic Is</h3>
<p>Ceramic, in jewelry terms, refers to high-tech advanced ceramic, not pottery. It's typically made from titanium carbide or zirconium oxide compounds that are kiln-fired at extreme temperatures into a dense, hardened material. The result is a wedding band that's lighter than tungsten, harder than titanium, and finished in a color that's part of the material itself rather than a coating.</p>
<p>The same family of ceramics is used in luxury watch cases (Rado, Hublot, Omega) and high-performance industrial applications. For wedding bands, it's the modern alternative to traditional metals.</p>
<h3>Why People Choose It</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Permanent color, all the way through.</strong> Black ceramic is black throughout the material. White ceramic is white throughout. The color can't chip, fade, or wear off because it isn't on the surface, it's the material.</li>
<li><strong>Highly scratch-resistant.</strong> Ceramic rates between 7 and 8 on the Mohs scale, harder than titanium and most precious metals. It holds its finish under daily wear.</li>
<li><strong>Lightweight.</strong> Ceramic is about 40% lighter than tungsten and lighter than most gold rings. Comfortable for all-day wear without the heaviness some men dislike.</li>
<li><strong>Hypoallergenic.</strong> Ceramic is biologically inert, so there's no reaction with the skin and no metal allergies to worry about.</li>

<h3>The Tradeoff Worth Knowing</h3>
<p>Ceramic's hardness is also its limitation. Like tungsten, ceramic can crack or shatter under sharp impact. This is rare in normal wear, but it's worth understanding before you buy.</p>
<p>Two practical things follow from this:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>It can't be cut off the finger</strong> with traditional ring saws. In an emergency, a hospital uses a small tool to crack the ring at two points, which removes it cleanly. Most ERs are familiar with this.</li>
<li><strong>Resizing isn't possible.</strong> If your size changes, we replace the ring through the Aydins Lifetime Sizing Program rather than try to alter it. It's how high-tech ceramic works.</li>

<h3>Comfort Fit, Explained</h3>
<p>Every Aydins ceramic ring is built with a comfort-fit interior. The inside of the band is gently domed instead of flat, which reduces friction against the finger and makes the ring sit smoothly even when your hand swells slightly (heat, humidity, exercise, long flights).</p>

<p>Ceramic comes primarily in two colors, both intrinsic to the material:</p>

<li><strong>Black ceramic.</strong> A deep, neutral black that doesn't fade or wear. The most popular choice in the category and a clean alternative to black-plated tungsten, since ceramic doesn't have a plated layer that can wear over time.</li>
<li><strong>White ceramic.</strong> A bright, modern white that resembles white gold or platinum but never tarnishes, yellows, or needs replating. A favorite among buyers who want the look of white gold without the upkeep.</li>

<h3>Care & Cleaning</h3>

<li>Clean with mild soap and warm water, dry with a soft cloth.</li>
<li>Skip the ultrasonic cleaners and chemical jewelry dips. Ceramic doesn't need them.</li>
<li>No special precautions for showering, swimming, or chemicals. Ceramic is inert and doesn't react.</li>
<li>The surface holds its polish under normal wear, but avoid dropping the ring on hard surfaces. Like all hard ceramics, the same property that resists scratches makes the material vulnerable to sharp impact.</li>
