A flat comfort fit has a flat outer surface with squared edges, giving a modern architectural look. A domed comfort fit is rounded on the outside like a low half-circle, giving a softer classic appearance. Both share the same comfortable rounded interior. 10k vs 14k gold
10k is 41.7 percent gold. 14k is 58.3 percent gold. 10k has more alloy (silver, copper, zinc) which makes it harder and more scratch-resistant, but the color is slightly less rich than 14k. Choose 10k if you prioritize durability and value. Choose 14k if you want a richer gold color and are willing to trade a bit of hardness for it. Both are solid gold. Both hold up to daily wear. What's Covered
- Manufacturing defects in the ring or its finish
- Premature failure of plating, coatings, or inlays under normal wear
- Stone setting failure caused by the manufacturing process
- Defects in the metal or material itself
What's Not Covered
The warranty covers how we built the ring, not what happens to it after you take it home. The following aren't covered:
- Damage from drops, sharp impact, or excessive force
- Wear caused by chlorine, harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaning, or improper care
- Lost rings
- Damage from at-home sizing or resizing attempts (always use the Lifetime Sizing Program)
- Normal cosmetic wear over time on softer metals (small scratches, patina)
Aydins Lifetime Sizing Program
Your finger size will change over the years. The Lifetime Sizing Program is how we make sure your ring keeps fitting, no matter how long you've owned it.
It works like this:
- If your size changes at any point in your life, we will send you the same ring in your new size for a small re-sizing fee, not the full retail price.
- You ship your original ring back to us, and we ship the replacement out to you.
- The full process is handled through our Returns & Exchanges portal, so you can track everything from start to finish.
The exact process depends on the metal (some can be resized, others are replaced), but the outcome is the same: you stay in a ring that fits, for life.
How to File a Claim or Request a Resize
Visit our Returns & Exchanges page to start any warranty claim, resize request, or return. You'll be guided through our self-service portal, where you can submit your claim, upload photos if needed, and track status from start to finish.
For warranty claims, please include a clear photo of the ring so we can confirm coverage before shipping a replacement.

Yes. Free inside engraving is included on every order, up to 30 characters. Engraving is applied at our Texas workshop the day your order comes in. Common engravings include wedding date, initials, a short message, or a coordinate. Because engraving is included free, you do not pay extra to personalize the ring. Engraving is inside only; the outside of the ring stays smooth and unmarked.

Which width should I choose?

Every Aydins ring is backed by the Aydins Lifetime Warranty. Free coverage in the first 6 months against breaks and material defects. Returns accepted within 30 days from delivery. Because this ring includes free engraving, engraved rings are exchange only rather than returnable. Free exchanges within the first 30 days on unengraved rings. Engraved exchanges within the first 30 days are $34.50. Precious metal sizing and warranty fees for gold and platinum rings are quoted per case based on current metal market prices at the time of exchange.
