TANDEM | Polished Black Titanium White CZ Eternity Wedding Band — 8mm
Description
The TANDEM is a handcrafted black titanium men's wedding band, 8mm wide, with a polished black titanium flat body carrying a continuous eternity row of white cubic zirconia stones bezel-set flush across the center running the full circumference. Built comfort-fit, inside-laser-engravable, and backed by our lifetime warranty - faceted bright white CZ stones catching light against deep polished black titanium.
The Metal
Titanium is one of the strongest, lightest metals used in fine jewelry - roughly 40% lighter than steel while maintaining excellent corrosion resistance and durability. It's fully hypoallergenic and nickel-free, which makes it a strong alternative to tungsten for guys who don't want the weight of a tungsten band on their finger. Daily contact with keys, tools, desks, and steering wheels will not damage the metal in normal use.
The black tone on the TANDEM is a PVD (physical vapor deposition) finish bonded to the titanium core at the molecular level - not paint or plating. It won't peel, strip, or wear through. Titanium itself is fully hypoallergenic and nickel-free, lighter and more flexible than tungsten while still being highly durable. The white cubic zirconia stones are high-grade lab-grown faceted stones, bezel-set flush into precision-cut recesses around the band.
White CZ Eternity on Polished Black Titanium
Titanium is a different kind of metal from tungsten - lighter, more flexible, with the same hypoallergenic properties but a softer feel on the finger. The TANDEM uses polished black PVD titanium as the body, then runs a continuous eternity row of white cubic zirconia stones across the center. Black metal, white stones, classic high-contrast brilliance.
From a distance the ring reads as a deep black band with a vivid white center stripe of unbroken sparkle. Up close, the white CZ throws fine reflections from each bezel setting against polished black titanium. It's a wedding band built on classic contrast in a lighter alternative metal.
Who It's For
The TANDEM is for the man drawn to lighter alternative metals and classic contrast - modern, sensitive-skin, anyone who prefers titanium's lighter feel over tungsten weight. If you want a black titanium band with a white CZ eternity row, this is the one.

Warranty
Lifetime Warranty
Every Aydins ring is covered by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. If something fails because of how the ring was made, not how it was worn, we'll take care of it through our warranty process.
What's Covered
- Manufacturing defects in the ring or its finish
- Premature failure of plating, coatings, or inlays under normal wear
- Stone setting failure caused by the manufacturing process
- Defects in the metal or material itself
What's Not Covered
The warranty covers how we built the ring, not what happens to it after you take it home. The following aren't covered:
- Damage from drops, sharp impact, or excessive force
- Wear caused by chlorine, harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaning, or improper care
- Lost rings
- Damage from at-home sizing or resizing attempts (always use the Lifetime Sizing Program)
- Normal cosmetic wear over time on softer metals (small scratches, patina)
Aydins Lifetime Sizing Program
Your finger size will change over the years. The Lifetime Sizing Program is how we make sure your ring keeps fitting, no matter how long you've owned it.
It works like this:
- If your size changes at any point in your life, we will send you the same ring in your new size for a small re-sizing fee, not the full retail price.
- You ship your original ring back to us, and we ship the replacement out to you.
- The full process is handled through our Returns & Exchanges portal, so you can track everything from start to finish.
The exact process depends on the metal (some can be resized, others are replaced), but the outcome is the same: you stay in a ring that fits, for life.
How to File a Claim or Request a Resize
Visit our Returns & Exchanges page to start any warranty claim, resize request, or return. You'll be guided through our self-service portal, where you can submit your claim, upload photos if needed, and track status from start to finish.
For warranty claims, please include a clear photo of the ring so we can confirm coverage before shipping a replacement.
Our Promise
Aydins has been making rings since 2011. The warranty and the sizing program exist for one reason: a wedding band is supposed to last as long as the marriage. We build the ring to do that, and we back it for as long as you wear it.
FAQ's
How does inside engraving work?
Free with every order. You can engrave text, dates, coordinates, fingerprints, handwriting, signatures, or a custom image. Standard fonts are included; if you want a specific font or custom artwork, send us a sample after checkout and we'll match it. Engraving is permanent and laser-etched, not stamped.
Do you offer custom sizes or widths?
Yes, within reason. We can do half sizes, sizes below 5 and above 15, and non-standard widths on most styles. Reach out before ordering with what you need and we'll quote the timeline. Some materials (ceramic, full-engraved patterns) have manufacturing limits we'll be upfront about.
Which material is right for me?
Tungsten is hardest and most scratch-resistant; great for daily wear and active hands. Titanium is lighter, hypoallergenic, and softer in feel. Ceramic is hard like tungsten but lighter and a true permanent black. Solid 14k gold is softer than tungsten and will pick up character marks over time, which most buyers like; pick gold if you want a traditional precious metal. Each ring's Material tab covers the specifics for that piece.
Are your rings really handcrafted?
Yes. Every Aydins ring is hand-finished, hand-inspected, and hand-engraved in our workshop before it ships. We've been doing this since 2011. That's why standard turnaround is 1 to 3 business days and not same-day; the quality check takes a beat.

Material - Tungsten
What Tungsten Carbide Is
Tungsten carbide is an industrial-grade metal originally developed for cutting tools and high-wear applications. When refined for jewelry, it produces a wedding band that's harder, denser, and more wear-resistant than gold, platinum, or titanium. It rates about 9 on the Mohs hardness scale, which puts it just below diamond and roughly four times harder than steel.
For a wedding band you'll wear every day for the next forty years, that hardness is the whole point.
Why People Choose It
- Scratch-resistant. Tungsten holds its finish under daily wear in a way that precious metals can't. Gold scuffs, platinum dulls, tungsten doesn't.
- Substantial weight. Tungsten is nearly twice as dense as steel. The ring has real presence on the finger, which most people read as quality.
- Permanent shine. The polish is mechanical, not a coating. It doesn't fade or soften with age.
- Hypoallergenic. All Aydins tungsten is cobalt-free, so it won't cause the skin reactions that older or low-grade tungsten can.
- Affordable. A tungsten band runs a fraction of the price of a comparable gold or platinum ring with no sacrifice in durability.
The Tradeoff Worth Knowing
Tungsten's hardness is also its only real limitation. Where gold or platinum will bend under a sharp impact, tungsten can crack or shatter. This is rare in normal wear, but it's worth understanding before you buy.
Two practical things follow from this:
- It can't be cut off the finger with traditional ring saws. In an emergency, a hospital uses a small tool to crack the ring at two points, which removes it cleanly. Most ERs are familiar with this.
- Resizing isn't done by stretching. If your size changes, we replace the ring through the Aydins Lifetime Sizing Program rather than try to bend it. It's how the category works.
Comfort Fit, Explained
Every Aydins tungsten ring features a comfort-fit interior. The inside of the band is gently domed rather than flat, which reduces friction on the finger and keeps the ring sitting smoothly even when your hand swells slightly (from heat, humidity, exercise, or long flights).
One note on sizing. Comfort-fit rings often run a half size larger than standard fit, so if you've measured for a non-comfort-fit ring before, order a half size down. If you're unsure, our Ring Sizing Guide has three different ways to find your size at home.
Plated Finishes (Gold, Rose Gold, Black)
Some of our tungsten rings are finished with an ion-plated (IP) coating in gold, rose gold, or black. The plating is bonded to the tungsten core through high-energy ion deposition, which makes it considerably more durable than electroplating. It's designed for daily wear and rated to resist scratching, fading, and wear better than painted or anodized finishes.
To extend the life of any plated finish:
- Avoid extended chlorine exposure (pool, jacuzzi)
- Avoid harsh chemicals (bleach, solvents)
- Clean with mild soap and water, not abrasive cleaners or ultrasonic cleaners
Care & Cleaning
- Wipe down with mild soap and warm water, dry with a soft cloth.
- Skip the ultrasonic cleaners and chemical jewelry dips. Tungsten doesn't need them, and plated finishes don't tolerate them well.
- Take the ring off for chemical exposure: pool chlorine, harsh cleaners, certain solvents.
- Otherwise, wear it. Tungsten is built for everyday life. That's the whole point of the metal.
Lifetime Coverage
Every Aydins tungsten ring is backed by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects and the Aydins Lifetime Sizing Program. If your size ever changes, we get you into a ring that fits through the sizing program. Both are handled through our Returns & Exchanges portal, and the full warranty terms are listed on the Warranty tab.
The promise behind both is simple: a wedding band is supposed to last as long as the marriage. We build the ring to do that, and we back it for as long as you wear it.
Material - Titanium
Buy the top branded Titanium Rings from top online stores!
Do you know how the titanium rings, which are highly popular nowadays; have completely transformed the customer perspective? Why they are considered best and trustworthy than the other ornaments and jewelry? The answers to all of these will be entitled in the following article! Titanium wedding bands not only catch the eye of audience, but also fulfill the requirement of customers. Many of their highlighting features and important information is being covered in the following article. But before you get to know the exact answer to the question, it is essential to know about titanium and about its grades.
What is Titanium?
Among the entire elements on the periodic table, titanium is the one, found in nature which also falls in the transition metal category. It is considered one among the most abundant metals that are found on earth and it holds the seventh position on this consideration. The light and shiny white/gray color adds extra value to this element, and when polished or brushed using certain methods, it provides magnificent results. The property that completely distinguishes titanium from other elements is that it has a high ratio of strength to weight. Which means that it is light weighted that too with low density. The estimated density is 4.11 compared to tungsten that has 19.25 as density.
The wedding ornaments should be lightly weighted like the feather on fingers, and the titanium rings exactly match this requirement. They are primarily constructed as jewelry rings with titanium composition of 99.2%. The titanium ring may be crafted with other materials like a gemstone in combination. Now the composition may vary according to the use of other materials. The rings are crafted using bars, tubes or sheets, which are later, cut down in desired size and shapes. The jewelry is made using the laser welding, unlike the other elements that are made using soldering and rolling techniques.
Properties of Titanium:
They are chosen to make branded titanium rings due to utmost unique characteristics such as the bi-compact property, which is non-toxic to the human body. They are also known as best for those who suffer certain kind of allergies and it does not react on the fingers of the individuals. Other such property that makes it easy to use is its high resistance to corrosion, to aqua regia, acids, and seawater. They hold a high level of fatigue and a good ratio of strength to weight than certain metals. They are not like other metals which are impossible to resize once molded into particular shape and size. The reduction and ability to resize is possible in titanium rings.
Why this type of ring suits best?
As it is mentioned above that the properties of titanium can be changed easily by partially adding metals to form an alloy, they are divided into following types-
- Grade 1: It is considered as the softest titanium form,
- Grade 2- It is considered as the hardest titanium form.
Commercially pure titanium grade that is 99% pure is used in titanium rings. Again the commercially pure rings are categorized into Grade 1 to 4, but for wedding rings Grade 2 to 4 is perfect. They are generally scratch resistant with other strong resisting properties.
